Pool safety fence or removable pool safety fence whichever you prefer to reference it as is a product that has been around for over 20 years and provides the most important layer of protection in your backyard that is needed…the layer between your child and the pool. The fence around your yard may keep children out of your backyard and pool but the majority of accidents that happen involve the child or grandchild of the owner of the home with the pool.

We are right in the middle of the “snow bird” season here in Florida. This is the time in which many folks come down from the New England area to sunny Florida to avoid the white powder plague known as snow. Most own second homes in Florida and look forward to enjoying the pool they have in their second home in Florida. Pool safety fences are a law in Florida and most home owners with a pool know that but it is important to point out why it is particularly important for those that do not live in the property as a primary home.
Pool fence is probably the last thing on the minds of most right now here in the great city of Atlanta with the temperature hovering at 24 degrees and snow having just grazed our presence (notice I said grazed not graced!). The thoughts of beach balls and barbeques are in the thoughts of many as we lay our heads down during this truly fourth season of the year. Opening the pool in a couple of months will be upon us in no time so it never hurts to highlight a couple of key aspects of pool safety in advance.
Pool safety is a serious matter that can be addressed with various solutions. While some may not like the look of a pool safety fence or removable pool fence, others may not be able to afford an automatic pool safety cover (let’s face it they are not cheap to own and maintain!) so the alternate is the pool safety net. These are ASTM certified and do not obstruct your view of the back yard.
