Pool Security Weak Spots

Doggy doors – If you don’t have a pool barrier between the pool and the pet door, you are welcoming trouble. Not only can pets make a beeline to the pool, but so can little CHILDREN who fit through the pet doors.

Pool fence surrounds – 4 sides vs. 3 sides – Some pool owners surround the pool on only three sides and use the wall as the 4th side. The safest pool fence formation is a four-sided one.

Not all fences are pool safety fences – Make sure that your pool safety fence is a minimum of 4 feet high and is ASTM certified.
